This giveaway is now finished. Thanks to all!

I have so much to celebrate today so I am going to do my first Giveaway

First of all The SHOP is up and running and my ceramics are for sale on the site. (This weekend until Monday Nov. 12 (12 midnight EST) shipping is included for North American customers!) VERY soon I will have furniture and home accessories up for sale on the site as well.

Second I hit 2000 likes on Facebook! I think that is another good reason to celebrate.

And last but most important I get to share all of this with YOU! I can not tell you how much I appreciate your comments and support. I feel I have a community of like minded friends out there and I truly love it!

So....

All you have to do is:

1. Subscribe to lookslikewhite through my Network Blogs, Bloglovin or by email.

2. Leave a comment on my website below.

3. Like my Facebook page

4. Post this giveaway on your Facebook page.

The Prize is of course a piece of lookslikewhite ceramics! This is a white platter that is about 16" long and 6.5" wide. It has a white glazed front and a natural, unglazed back. (spoon not included) I will ship anywhere so go ahead and enter. The giveaway will close on Friday, Nov. 16th, 2012, at midnight EST.

Thank you all again!

French Country Home

This home in the Lot valley region of France has been updated, from the previous dark interior, to the all white of today. Bright and fresh with all of the original features it is a wonderful cozy space inside and out. The doors leading into the dining room are heaven and as are the quaint blue shudders on the exterior of the home!

Enjoy!

Modern Barn

When I am doing research for this blog I look at a lot of houses of all different types from modern to vintage style and from barn to loft. Sometimes I come across a place that is done so well for the style and this is one of those houses. An old barn converted into a home with all of the modern conveniences but with all of the charm kept intact. From the interior to the gardens and pool area outside it is the perfect modern barn style home decorated with simple furnishes that allow the architecture and finishings within the home to shine.

Enjoy!

Sweet Apartment in Sweden

This is a lovely little apartment in Sweden where the space has been used in a really great way. The kitchen is bright and well planned with great concrete counter tops. The hallway is a pretty inviting space as is the bedroom. It does not take a lot of furniture or a big home to create a wonderful and peaceful place!

Kitchen and Mudroom Redo

This gorgeous house was renovated room by room and the results are fantastic. I have shown the mudroom before on Facebook and love that it is such a big size. You can really move around in this room and with a few kids in the house that would make going in and out a lot easier! The kitchen is just so fresh and light. Great job on this reno!!

Cottage Love

This cottage in Connecticut, filled with traditional American antique treasures, is kept light and fresh by using a consistent color palette throughout the home. Built in the 18th century, the homeowners have respected the history of this house yet gently transformed it for modern day living. I love it!

Paris Factory Loft

I had seen one of these pictures on Pinterest and found the rest of the photos very recently. I love when that happens and I get to see the whole home. What I like about this is the big letters in the kitchen area and the loose, eclectic decor. I can imagine a young couple or students living in a space like this. Check out the barn lamps above the kitchen counter!

Victorian Charm

The bones of this beautiful Victorian are the perfect backdrop to the simple but elegant furnishings in this home. The many fireplaces along with the white washed wood floors and bright white walls help to create a beautiful flow throughout the space. What I think is so interesting is the mix of modern and traditional from the bathrooms to the furniture it all works to make a very interesting home.

Enjoy!
