Everygirl Home Tour

I just wanted to share this video home tour from the co-founder of Everygirl, Alaina Kaczmarski. This is a dream greystone located in Chicago. There are so many amazing features in this home so keep an eye out for these as you watch:

1. Front entry tile in black and white

2. The mirror over the fireplace and the crystal chandelier in the living room

3. The gorgeous wall of pictures beside the fireplace

4. The book shelves on the wall with the lamps over top in brass in the living room

5. The play of black and white flowing throughout the home moves from one room into the next

6. Two cute pups :)

7. The use of the black and white prints, photos and the black and white art throughout the home

8. The many gorgeous rugs in each room.

Sarah Richardson London Flat

I love how Sarah Richardson designed this gorgeous flat in central London. So luxurious with incredible fabrics and large crystal and gold chandeliers! This kitchen is really spectacular with marble floor and backsplash in a beautiful oyster colour contrasted with a rustic wood table. So like Sarah to mix high/low so well. Sarah has a great website with all of her designs from her show and it is really fun to go through and get design inspiration.

Victorian Modern

This Victorian home in London is all done up in tones of grey, white and taupe. Amazing mouldings and ceiling detail are what make this house so special but it's the mix with modern furnishings that really up the style factor.

Love the modern details in the kitchen with the lacquered white cabinets and the gorgeous antique windows. So pretty with the table in the eating nook and the modern lamp hanging from the ceiling.

Victorian Cottage

This is an old Victorian cottage in England but looking at it from the view of the modern gorgeous kitchen it does not look old or Victorian! Pale greens and blues highlight the open space and match the wonderful colour from the outdoors that is really brought into the room through these incredible folding doors. I would love to have such large doors open to the terrace in my home! 

Once you get into the other rooms we start to see the character of the old house. Some of the great features in this space...well the bathroom is simply beautiful! Love the sink with the amazing mirror above and of course the dressing room would have just about enough space for my clothes...perfect. Have you noticed how many large white mirrors they have in this home? Just about enough to even satisfy my love of mirrors....

Victorian Home Love

Where to begin talking about this amazing house? A renovated Victorian in San Francisco, this house is traditional, quirky, vintage and sophisticated all rolled into one. In the first picture there are so many things to look at! A stuffed peacock (really?), a bird under a cloche, a vintage clock and that is just the beginning! In the kitchen check out the custom hood (oh so gorgeous), the vintage stove and the new, yes new, fridge that looks vintage. The dining room has more antiques and vintage finds layered upon layer with the mirror and the statue and cool vintage bottles...oh I could go on. Did I mention the floor in the bathroom and kitchen? So great.
