Paola Navone Open Bedroom

I have shown this space before but never the bedroom portion of this incredible home of Paola Navone! I love how it is completely open to the rest of the home so you can see the dining room and kitchen from the bedroom.  The sink and bath are also open to the rest of the bedroom. Something you would have to get used to for sure however the room is really beautiful!

Enjoy!

The apartment of this young couple is exactly as it should be...young, fun and eclectic! Solid base pieces like the tufted couch are perfect to work off of (and are a good investment)...just add the creativity! Love all the Morrocan touches and the red floor in the bedroom and kitchen is fantastic played off the white walls !

Festive Home + Entertaining

I love this video on entertaining from Kinfolk Magazine and West Elm. So pretty and some great recipe ideas as well. (I don't know about you but I have not stopped eating for the past four days!) I have also included some lovely photos from Kinfolk magazine. I love the styling and the photography from this magazine.

Inspiration in White - Christmas Tables

I am starting to think about how I will do my table this year for Christmas Day when the family comes over. I always do an all white table (of course) but this year I really want to add something different. I am not sure what that will be ( I will take a picture so you can see what I decide) but I want to add red or bring plants instead of flowers onto the table. Anyway, I have been looking for inspiration and I thought I would share with you what I found.

Stone, Wood and White

This home of Atlanta based designer Bill Cook is not for the faint of heart. Filled to the brim with his collection of odd and beautiful objects, the home can feel inspiring and overwhelming at the same time! Beautiful details in the design of the home balance the feeling of luxury and comfort and certainly stir the imagination of guests that come to visit. The mix of stone and wood is certainly cozy and comes from the area surrounding this interesting home..

Inspiration in White - Holiday Doors and Windows

I love these windows and doors (and a couple of blackboards ) with a beautiful touch of green in a wreath or a bunch of pine boughs. It is so easy and fun to add a touch of the holidays with a wreath hung indoors or outside. Add a bow, some pine cones and a few berries and voila! So many creative folks out there!

I have a lot of wood in my home and I think wood with white is the perfect combination. There are so many wonderful wood products right now especially natural wood. Take a look at a few products I really like all in wood (or wood smell)...

Wood cutting boards from Toast .

Incredible wooden bike from Selectism

Modern Rustic

Very sweet home in Australia! I just love the kitchen with the rustic feel, the vine and the gorgeous column. The winding staircase with the bustform on the landing is a wonderful added touch. The owners collection of bone rings and cuffs is beautifully displayed in a bowl. Nice styling and a lovely home.
