I have posted about my love for grey before but it is a love affair that continues so I need to share again....grey is not only perfect in the home but I love to wear grey as well. I have so many grey sweaters that my closet looks frankly ridiculous. (does anyone need that many grey sweaters). Grey, black, beige and white....pretty much like my decor. I love the depth of grey and how mixing different greys can look in a room. It is like white in the way that layers of different whites in a room can have so much impact. Take a look at a few spaces layered in grey and a few grey outfits as well....

The bones of this beautiful Victorian are the perfect backdrop to the simple but elegant furnishings in this home. The many fireplaces along with the white washed wood floors and bright white walls help to create a beautiful flow throughout the space. What I think is so interesting is the mix of modern and traditional from the bathrooms to the furniture it all works to make a very interesting home.

This boathouse on the Thames River in Middlesex England is a gorgeous example of an all white interior. I love the big spaces and light filled rooms that look out onto this great deck and big backyard. The only color is in the blue door (love this color of blue) and the wood and wicker that, of course, look so good in a white room. It is for rent so... any takers?
